FAME-II comes to an end on March 31, 2024 and the government has decided not to come out with a new variant of it in the form of FAME-III. EMPS is valid for only four months - April-July 2024 - with an outlay of 2500 crore. Companies will need to register under the new programme to be eligible for getting subsidies.
