First chip from Tata’s Dholera plant will be out in December 2026, says Ashwini Vaishnaw
The first set of semiconductors will start rolling out from Tata Electronics’ plant here in December 2026, union minister for communications and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Wednesday. Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony of Tata Group and CG Power chip plants, Vaishnaw said India will be among the top five chip ecosystems in the world by 2029.”The first chip from Dholera plant will be out in December 2026 and chip from Micron plant will be out by December 2024,” the minister said. He said Tata’s Dholera plant will make chips in 28, 50, 55 nanometer node.

New Delhi: The heavy industries ministry on Wednesday announced a new scheme to promote e-mobility in the country with an outlay of INR 500 crore for four months beginning April 2024. The new scheme is for 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers.

Bajaj Auto buyback offer oversubscribed 6.89 times
Mumbai: Bajaj Auto’s ₹4,000-crore buyback offer received a strong response from investors. The offer was oversubscribed 6.89 times according to the data available at BSE. The buyback that opened on March 6 closed on Wednesday. The company announced its intention to buyback up to 40 lakh shares at a face value of ₹10 each. In January, Bajaj Auto announced its buyback plan of ₹10,000 a share, a 12.6 per cent premium compared to the share price prior to the announcement of the offer.

Honda exports nearly 7,000 Elevate SUVs to Japan
