These auto sector stocks can deliver more than 17% return in next one year
If one looks at the old large players from the auto sector, after a phase of relative under performance for quite some time, in the last six months most of them have seen a catch up trade. While valuations have moved upward sharply and are relatively higher then what they were recently, two things need to be taken into account. First, the balance sheets of most of these companies are strong, and strong balance sheets should be given the due importance in normal time but surely more at a time when valuations are expensive across the board. Secondly, there is an underlying transformation happening in auto space, it will take some time but once the new earning stream sets up, there is likely to be a re-rating though it will not be across the board but surely, a select few would be better placed. That is probably the reason why analysts are bullish on them.
