StoreDot manufactures its first prismatic XFC silicon cells
Israel-headquartered StoreDot, a player working on extreme fast charging (XFC) battery technology for electric vehicles has announced that it has achieved an important milestone on its path to commercialisation with the successful manufacturing of its first-ever prismatic XFC silicon-dominant battery cells.

StoreDot claims its XFC tech achieved 160km range in 4-minute charge
Israel-based StoreDot, a leading company working on extreme fast charging (XFC) battery technology for electric vehicles, has progressed well on the development of its next-phase technology roadmap. This builds on its previously announced introduction of production-readiness cells capable of 100 miles (160km) in 5 minutes this year, and 100 in 3 minutes by 2028, as the company continues its path towards commercialisation.
