2024 marks 60 years of the iconic Ford Mustang, and Ford is celebrating that by unveiling a new 60th Anniversary package for the muscle car that brings in some retro design cues that harks back to the original. Ford will be building only 1,965 examples of this special Mustang, commemorating the year it officially debuted, and it's set to go on sale worldwide later this year.

There’s been a lot of talk if and when will Ford return to the Indian market. As per reports, the Blue Oval is set to make a comeback here with the Toyota Fortuner rival, the Endeavour. The American maker is also gearing up to introduce its first electric vehicle in India, the Mustang Mach-E. To be fair, when Ford was exiting India in 2021, the company announced that it would introduce the electric coupe via the direct import route. Well, now it’s confirmed, that Ford is planning to bring the Mustang Mach-E as it has trademarked the all-electric vehicle.

After having applied for a design patent for the next-gen Endeavour in India, Ford has now trademarked the Mustang Mach-E nameplate, suggesting that it is inching closer to a re-entry in our market. In fact, the Mustang Mach-E was the first vehicle that Ford had actually confirmed for an India launch soon after it wrapped up local operations in 2021.
